Equal Employment Opportunity and Non-Discrimination Policy

I. OVERVIEW & SCOPE
Carry, based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, has established a Non-Discrimination and Equal Employment Opportunity Policy ("EEO"). This policy applies to all aspects of the relationship between Carry and its drivers, employees, and independent contractors, including, but not limited to, recruitment, hiring, compensation, training, promotions, and other employment-related practices. These policies also apply to all personnel working on the premises, temporary workers, and any other individuals or businesses working for or with Carry. Any user found in violation of this policy may lose access to the Carry platform.

II. POLICIES

  1. DISCRIMINATION
    Carry does not tolerate any form of discrimination based on race, creed, religion, color, age, disability, pregnancy, marital status, parental status, sexual orientation, gender expression, gender identity, veteran status, military status, national origin, political affiliation, sex, or any other status protected by law. Discrimination in providing delivery services is strictly prohibited.

    Prohibited Discriminatory Conduct:

    • Not accepting a delivery request based on any protected characteristic or trait.
    • Using derogatory language related to a customer's protected characteristics.
    • Refusing service based on geographic location.
  2. HARASSMENT
    Carry is committed to a harassment-free work environment. Harassment, verbal or non-verbal, based on sex, race, ethnicity, national origin, or any other legally protected characteristics will not be tolerated.

  3. SEXUAL HARASSMENT
    Carry prohibits unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and any other conduct of a sexual nature that creates a hostile work environment or affects work performance. This includes inappropriate conduct at work, on company business, or at company-sponsored events.

  4. STATEMENT ON AFFIRMATIVE ACTION
    Carry aims to increase the representation and participation of minorities in its workforce through affirmative action programs.

  5. REPORTING DISCRIMINATION & HARASSMENT
    If any employee, contractor, or driver believes they have experienced discrimination or harassment, they should file a grievance with the Grievance Department, located at [Carry's office address] or via email at compliance@carry.com. The complaint will be promptly investigated, and corrective actions will be taken as needed.

  6. RETALIATION
    Carry prohibits retaliation against anyone who reports discrimination or harassment in good faith. Any false allegations will be treated seriously.

  7. DISCIPLINARY MEASURES FOR HARASSMENT
    Employees or drivers who violate this policy may face disciplinary action, including possible termination.

  8. REMEDIES
    Remedies for verified discrimination may include back pay, reinstatement, reasonable accommodation, or other appropriate actions. Legal fees may also be covered.

  9. POLICY IMPLEMENTATION
    Carry's CEO fully supports the implementation of this policy, which is effective as of [date].
